I agree with esh ga that your lovely plant is _Ardisia crenata_. In Zone 8, _Ardisia crenata_ can be grown outdoors as an attractive ground cover. Its red berries are especially pretty around Christmastime. I've tried it outdoors in Zone 7b without any success. The Zone 7b winter is a little too cold for _Ardisia crenata_. There are, however, some other _Ardisia_ species that are suitable to outdoor cultivation in Zone 7b--none as showy as _Ardisia crenatata_, which, I believe, may be considered an invasive species in FL.

Thanks so much. It is a showy little plant. I might have to get one myself. I know it is invasive in warmer areas but, it has stayed put in zone 7. You guys made my day much thanks!
