i wouldnt worry ...

but i would give it a month .. to insure what is dead.. is dead .. sometimes damaged stuff is just late ...

when the time comes.. look for a fork in the road, tracking down into the plant ... where one side is fully dead.. the the other forks off to live growth ... cut out the dead ...

it will fill back in.. in tree time.. maybe this year.. maybe next ...

its just not a big deal .. you know it was winter...

i would not feed a fully established plant ... you will not make it grow any faster than it is genetically programmed to do ...

Ken, Thanks for your rapid reply. I just took a good look at the tree and some of the brown leaves are perfect, just brown...like they were perfectly preserved, and some have spots. I will take a pic when it stops raining and post.
