| Anyone know the life span of goldmound spirea. Mine are 10 years old and looking pretty ratty, though I trim them after bloom and fertilize monthly April through July and water if it doesn't rain much. |

| Cut them to the ground and see what happens. I have had some older than that but they really benefit from being 'refreshed'. There was a thread on here a few days ago about this very topic - if you search for it you can see several people treat them this way. Not a shrub to be babied. |

| at least.. please check the first page for similar posts .. check out the one at the link ... which was about 10 down from yours ... and then go run your shrub over with the truck.. and be amazed at how it recovers ken |
