| My boxwood is having problems. I have an area with several shrubs and some, but not all, seem to be dying. We live in chicago and get snow on top of the shrubs. Any salt would kill the sides, but not the top, as is the case here. Can they be saved? |

| what about a big piece of ice ... prune out all the dead.. let us know what if anything you observe down under .. is it all one plant that is dead??? i dont see any life in there .... ken |

| do you prune it with shears? If so the middle is not getting enough light. |
