 o
Korean Spice (viburnum carlesii) not blooming

I've had 3 korean spice for 3 seasons now with zero flowers. They've grown considerably and otherwise appear to be healthy, in sun/part shade in slightly acidic soil, and with my sprinkler zone.

I do know the deer have been a problem eating everything in the yard the last couple of years.. but I've added fencing late last year which has helped considerably. Even so.. i can't imagine the deer have gotten every bit of them... I've never seen even speck of any buds or white blossoms.

Any ideas?? This thread was helpful, but I spotted no direct answers:

If you are saying the deer are eating your shrub in the winter, that is the reason why there are no fls. If you are not saying that, then look at your pruning habits. If you are not pruning, and you bought, say, 1 gal plants, patience.
