Looks like honeysuckle to me - some get quite large and "leggy" which might lead to thinking it was a tree. Leaf looks right, flower looks right.

I had a shrub for awhile I had no idea what it was. When someone told me it was a Honeysuckle, I was dubious. Checked it out and sure enough, Lonicera nitida, Box Honeysuckle. It looks like a small leaved, dark green, Boxwood. Not at all like a Honeysuckle vine. You don't have that variety, but I'm pointing out that it comes in several different forms. Opposite leaves though.

It IS a honeysuckle but NOT Lonicera nitida, which is an evergreen shrubby form that produces tiny, inconspicuous flowers. Not at all like the photo.

This looks like Tatarian honeysuckle, Lonicera tatarica, an invasive species in much of the country.

As Mike was trying to point out, not all honeysuckles are climbing vines. Some grow into quite large shrubs.

As Ken mentioned, the Lonicera tatarica id was supplied several days ago over on Trees. It was also explained that 'Honeysuckle' covers a multitude of Lonicera species.

freedombelle2001, if you Google the name you will see pictures just like your plant. Did you follow the link you were given?

I Googled and did much research on Google, with pictures, and took in what everyone at the web group told me, and am satisfied, I appreciate all the knowledge here, and now can close it all as resolved.
