| Has anyone ever seen this? I have a fairly young Sensation lilac that bloomed last year with a few flowers and this year with around 6 or so and one whitish/yellow flower. The shrub has 2 distinct trunks and on one is 2 lavendar/white blooms typical of the sensation and then this one whitish/yellow. I think the plant could be quite pretty if this continues and perhaps next year more of the two colors, but I have never seen this before. Because of this I'm going to move it closer to my yellow Primrose for contrast. My husband thinks there is a graft for the white one but it is too high up on the trunk to be a graft in my opinion. |
