My beautyberry is barely showing any green. Just started.......they really do look so dead before they get going. They're such tough shrubs, it will probably be OK.

Thanks ken_adrian and thyme2dig, I feel better now. My neighbors asked me why I had a "bunch of sticks" in between my lilacs. I told them not everyone can have a yard full of "yew balls". No, I didn't say that...

I have a bunch of trumpet vine sticks now too.
