Worried about my Limemound Spirea

I planted these in the ground 2 weeks ago. I'm afraid I'm losing one of them. He was doing very good until yesterday. It was the first day temperatures reached 80 degrees and sunny. He sits in full sun in AM then full shade in the afternoon. I have watered them 2 times this week in addition to a couple days with rain.

The first photo is the one I'm worried about. The second one is his brother sitting right next to him - which is how #1 looked just the other day. What is wrong? Is it in trouble or just having a bad hot day? What should this concerned newbie gardener do? I do have a warranty on him from the nursery...

the recent transplants roots are not recovering fast enough to pump the water it needs in 80 degrees ...

that is one of the reasons that it should have been planted a month ago or so.. more time to recover before the heat..

just maintain proper water .... and it should recover ... though those leaves may be too damaged per se ...

you will be hard pressed to kill it outright.. so dont worry about it too much

You might want to give it some shade with a temporary screen so that it doesn't lose quite as much water - bamboo or rebar stakes qith an old sheet fastened on to them and set up to the south so that it doesn't get full sun until it's settled in a bit.

Be careful with the water. Spirea sit in black pots all summer and look fine. It hit 87 in Milwaukee last Thursday and my witch hazel that I planted 2 weeks prior looked fine.
