Favorite Crape Myrtle varieties

Which are your favorite Crape Myrtle varieties and why?

Already have Zuni, Sioux, and Dynamite Red. But may have To replace one of two of my Zunis after a really bad winter, in terms of sustained cold rather than record cold.--(May give it another week or so as I am coastal, and seasons tend to be delayed.) Looking for one that I can keep more vertical than sprawling out too much. Really like Zuni (color and form), so may just get another one of these. Thanks in advance.

RE: Favorite Crape Myrtle varieties

I have a Dynamite, Muskogee, Tuscora, hopi, & Miami. Also 3 tontos. I got the tontos and hopi from springhill mail order last year and they are doing great so far. I was at Lowes this morning and they have a bunch of the tontos, miami, tuscora, osage, arapahoe and thats it i think.

I'm hoping they take off this year for me; I planted the Dynamite & Muskogee fall of 09' and they seem to be taking their time.
