These are abundant in a nearby city and I really like them, but do not know what they are. Some kind of shrub rose is my best guess.

Yes, 'Knockout' roses are very common now.

I agree with esh ga that 'Knockout' roses are, as that old Southern expression goes, as common as pig tracks.

Knockouts have begun dieing from RRD around here. I knew that would happen once the landscapers began putting them into every planting project they had.

Thanks Ken. I thought it meant Rose Replant Disease which we get over here. Seems we don't get Rose Rosette Disease.

My uncle has pink knockout roses but they have never gotten that tall or full. I guess that's what threw me.
