viburnum choice or whatever

Vicki

I have an old dead viburnum I am taking out from a north/south hedge and am looking for something to replace it. The location has 2 10' tall viburnams to the south, it is next to neighbor's trees to the west so the area is really shaded, privacy fence right beside it to the north, so only open area is from the east getting only morning sun, and then somewhat filtered from the tall shrubs around it. The 30 yr old viburnums to the south sucker really badly and I don't like that quality. I am constantly fighting suckers. I would like something for alkaline to normal soil (nothing that must have only acidic) that would grow 6'or more with a 4-6'spread with berries, flowers, and fall color.
