Virburnum Leaf Beetle

We have several 5 year old Northern Arrowwood virburnums growing on our property. We noticed this year that we have the virburnum leaf beetle eating several of the plants. I applied Bayer Advanced Tree and Shrub. What else can we do to help this plants from being harmed? We don't want these guys to die (since they are finally providing the screen we had desired).

if you already applied an appropriately labeled systemic ... for a properly ID'd pest ...

then there is nothing to do but wait until it becomes effective..

double dosing is simply polluting ....

you will know when it is working.. when new leaves are not being damaged... there is nothing to do about already damaged leaves.. but wait until next year ....

ps: worrying is not helping .... rely on the product if it was proper for the plague .... BTW ... but for one of the 7 plagues of the bible.. rarely does an insect actually kill a plant ... its against their best interest ....
