Spiral arborvitae all brown, can I save it

I have 2 beautiful spiral arborvitae that are about 6' high. I have them for about 5 years and they have always been beautiful. It seems like overnight, one turned brown :(. I had no idea what could have happened until I spotted a brown spot on a juniper bush right where it had a huge hunk of ice on it all winter that we couldn't get off. It made me remember that this arborvitae had ice hanging from it and that never happened before. I'm thinking that may be why. We are going to put our house on the market soon so I was like great, no I might have to replace this and we are watching every penny. Is there anyway to help this recover if that's what happened? I live in northeast pa. Thank you.
