Hi, I bought this shrub-looking thing at a nursery today and don't know what it is. Any ideas? Thanks!

Looks like a shrub dogwood to me (leaves opposite on stem, veins curve around towards leaf tip, flowers in panicles). What color are the larger stems?

It looks like a cornus sericia. Which one, I'm not sure. Here's a link.

Here is a link that might be useful: link

I agree with the Cornus sericea from here.

Interesting that someone would purchase a product without knowing what it is. Presumably there is a large yard with a blank slate so a place can be found for it. And hopefully there is time to manage this large speading shrub.
