Yew not growing

Let me start by saying I'm new to Yew. Last spring I planted three Browns yew in a foundation bed. There was slight burn and dieback on the most exposed one, but 75% of it still is green. The other 2 didn't burn. My problem is that the inside one has grown just a little this spring. The middle one is showing some growth on one side and the exposed one is showing absolutely nothing. It seems like the other yew I have seen in town have been growing for awhile. Is it still early for growth or do I have a problem? Not seeing any needle drop or anything, just no new growth at all.

if its alive.. i dont know what more you want ...

they are conifers.. they are trees.. but they are not shrubs ...

water deeply and properly.. just like we discussed in regard to all the conifers we talked about ...
