Desperately Seeking Help for my wilting Korean Spice Viburnums

Hi All. I would appreciate any help or assistance in my brand new to gardening issues for my Korean Spice Viburnums. I recently planted a bunch of different bushes and my viburnums are looking ill (while the rest are doing nicely). They bloomed beautifully (when bought from nursery they were already bloomed) for a few days and then for the last 1 1/2 weeks the leaves are starting to wilt and turn brown. The roots like fine and doesn't look like there are bugs on them. From my readings they are suppose to grow berries in the summer but that doesn't look like it is going to happen. The roots like fine and it doesn't look like there are bugs on them. Is it something with the plant, maybe shock from transplanting? Any help would be wonderful!! Thank you.
Kimberly

I apologize I am new to garden web I also posted under shrubs but under images to upload a picture. I apologize as I don't know how to delete this post on the discussion forum.

To Milwaukee:
It could be since I'm not quite sure what I'm doing I try to water 3 to 4 times a week since they are new in the ground add to that we have that clay type soil. I did post a picture under images side. Other than to stop overwatering :), will they recover or do I need to prune to get them back in shape?

Kimberlul,

You can't delete a post (sure wish ya could, sometimes). You can link the two posts together by supplying a link to the other post at the bottom of one or both posts, if you think that would be of any help. In other words, you could say, "see other post" and then provide the link to that post.

When you want to add pictures, just post them on an image hosting site and then embed them into the text here. Email me if you don't know how to do that, and I'll send you instructions (if you want).

You need to check your soil's moisture level at about an inch or two deep (use your finger and stick it down into the dirt) to see if your plants need water until you get familiar with your soil and can predict water needs. Don't assume you are watering too much (although it sounds very possible).

Pruning them is probably one of the worst things you could do for them. Imagine having one of your teeth pulled because you had an upset stomach. It wouldn't be the best way to attack the problem!

I can't do anything with that image - the 75' view doesn't give any detail to make a diagnosis.

So, guessing with the amount of info given, too much water, improper planting, cooked in the sun. Maybe they will recover, maybe not. Impossible to tell with info given.
