| Both of my spireas (one is Goldmound and the other is Goldflame..I apologise if those names are supposed to be separate!) have been self seeding the last couple of years. What will these seedlings be like? Will they be identical to the parents, or something else?(and less desireable) |

| They will have characteristics of their parents to varying degrees and may desirable enough to remain in your garden. Spirea japonica is very good at seeding itself in the garden and you may find it becoming a bit of a pest. |

| Yes, most of them look like they'll be tossed. Some of them have the yellow coloring, with new growth being red. I may keep some of those to see how they turn out. Others are almost entirely green. I'll toss those. Thanks for the information. |
