I have two Smoke Bushes planted seven years ago. They've always been reliable. Wondering if one might be dead. Ones leafed out. Other had buds, but then they shriveled and blackened a few weeks ago. We've had a cold spring with a few frost warnings. Also, drought last year. On top of that the back yard near the Smoke Bush flooded this spring. Is it dead if its not leafing out yet? What could I do to kick in gear? It was alive earlier this spring, but is now stuck. Thanks!
