Help identify issue with my Eugenia (pics attached)

So I bought a bunch of Eugenia Myrtifolia here in south fla. They are about 1 month since planting and approx 2ft tall. I have been reading a lot lately on some issues with Eugenia and then noticed some brown wilting areas on the leaves. My concern is its the 'die back' disease. I should note this is my first attempt at ever caring for a plant (new homeowner) so I apologize in advance if any of my questions are dumb or obvious. Also I noticed this on a bunch of the plants. I planted about 30 around the yard and noticed on at least 8. Please help!

Original rootball needs water because the roots are still within that area.
