| Good morning,
Does anyone actually have a picture of the golden spirit variety of Cotinus (smokebush) with flower/plume? I hear conflicting reports on wether it actually does or not and have not seen it anywhere. Thanks |

| Sure it blooms!! Perhaps not as heavily as the more typical green or purple leaved selections, but it does flower.

| Hi bfrederick, It blooms on old wood, so this spring I pruned back only about half of the branches and sure enough, last year's branches bloomed. I kindof like the mixture of blooms on the old taller branches and bright new growth on the shorter pruned branches. Best of luck! |
