Maybe prune the heck out of them and see if that works. Prune after fall color. Ensure you prune properly for that shrub type. Dan

They are in full sun. In 2 different beds. The blossoms start and then just turn brown. I have a few (literally 2 or 3) pink blooms.I also have two other spireas (Crispa) and they are beautiful. When should I prune them and how much??

Pruning instructions are already upthread. One suspects environmental factors with the sparse info given: water, soil, temperature... Dan

Figured it out with the help of Univ. of MD Cooperative Extension: spider mites!! I cut all of the brown blossoms off and sprayed with Pyola. Hope that takes care of it...
