Hi, could anybody advise me if there are some lilacs' varieties with lighter leaves than usual? Thanks. Jana

The old white-blooming "Lemoinei" has lighter green leaves than purple-blooming ones, but the difference is just barely noticeable.

Yes, the white bloomers definitely have lighter green foliage. I recently moved a white bloomer right next to a thicket of standard lavender boomers, and the difference is quite noticeable. I thought there was something wrong with it, but it is just being who it is.
