| I was planning on planting 3 gallon red tips along my entire fenceline this weekend and was hoping for some tips. The area I am planting is about 85 feet long. How far should I space the shrubs from each other and how far from the fence? Is red tip a good choice? How often and how much should I water once they are planted? How big should I dig the holes? I am in north Texas. Also, my fence sits on top of a 10 foot stone retaining wall that is in my back neighbors yard. Would the roots ever damage the wall when they get big? Sorry so many questions I have never planted shrubs before. |
