| Last year, at about the same time as this, I saw that one of my Golden Globe shrubs had been so infested with hundreds of baby bag worms that the shrub could not survive such an intense invasion. I just had not paid attention in time and to late noticed the tiny bags which caused me to pull them off too late, when the shrub was too stressed; so much so that the shrub died anyway.
So this year I have made an effort to monitor my remaining Golden Globes to remove, in a more timely manner, any bag worms that might appear this year. Well I did not see any sign of them until two days before yesterday, It seemed that nearly all at once suddenly one of my shrubs was full of them. I mean, with some of them on every single branch. Well even though I was just passing by and needing to make it to an appointment, I knew I had to stop and immediatly pick them all off, It took 45 minutes for me to pick all of them off, and later I had to pick off a few more, which I had missed. Then, Yesterday, Another of my Golden Globes was filled with them, and others of my Gloden Globe shrubs were found to have some of the bag worms beginning to infest them. I am now wondering if Bayer's systemic bug damage preventer for shurbs will be effective in stopping this bagworm invasion from re-occuring next year. Or is there some other procedure I should be using to abort this invasion that if left unchecked could risk killing all my Golden Globe shrubs? |

| I've used a Bayer spray on exisitng bagworm attacks on my Junipers, ... and the Bayer Tree and Shrub Systemic in the Spring to ward off future attacks, ... both with great success. |

| Thanks for the confirmation response. Really appreciate hearing about your success. Guess that is what I will need to do also. |
