Deutzia, maybe Deutzia 'Magician',' Strawberry Fields' or one of the other pink ones.

Thank you. Got it.

I googled and found Deutzia 'Tourbillon Rouge" has a bit mauve-pink colour. Maybe it is.

The one on the general market these days that looks like it is this (at link, below; other web sites have more pictures). If you are actually interested in getting one for yourself and don't want to hunt down something at a specialist nursery, the Monrovia offering might be present at any independent garden center near you that buys from them. In my area this shrub is currently standing out in nursery sales yards.

Once it goes out of bloom, not so much.

Here is a link that might be useful: 'Monzia'

And I'm sorry to have to add that 'Monzia' is marketed as Pink-a-Boo...that right there would make me cross it off my list...

Possible renaming of clearly similar 'Magicien', which is available through the mail (forestfarm, Gossler Farms and so on) in the US anyway - maybe if you look at least one Canadian source comes up also.

Thank all the responses above

There is a Monrovia's retailer 100 km away. I like the flower but not sure how the whole shrub look like. Google doesn't have much pictures of the whole plant. Most of the deutzia plant are not compact enough. I agree with bboy. Once it goes out of bloom, not so much.
