Pruning holly bushes

I searched on this forum for detailed information about pruning hollies, but I came up short. The first step is that I need to identify which hollies I have. Can someone suggest an identification guide?
The only hollies I am familiar with are Burfordii, which I pruned annually in January. The hollies in the yard where I live now are quite different, all of them smaller, and each with a different leaf and habit. I suspect some were not pruned properly by the previous owner.
Thanks!

Below is a link to a simplistic Ilex key. It looks like it contains many of the more common holly species. There may be a much better Ilex key online, but I don't know. Also, while the key is certainly workable, posting detailed pictures of the hollies here and maybe answering a few questions about them might be an easier method of identification.

Here is a link that might be useful: University of GA Ilex Key
