| Hi, I was hoping to get some assistance on deciding what to plant along the back of my house. The area gets gets Western sun, up until late afternoon. I was recommended Knockout Roses but they seem to heavily attract Japanese Beetles. The original suggestion was to put 5 Catmint plants there but I wasn't too fond of those. There will be an Ivory Halo Dogwood on one side and some Carl Foerster grass on the opposite. There's about 15 feet of open space along the back there, with the landscaping coming away from the house about 4.5 ft. Is there a form of Hydrangea that could work there? I'd prefer the plants to not get above 3-6 ft in height. Any help would be appreciated |

| I wouldn't use hydrangeas in that western exposure and Knock-Outs are being decimated by rose rosette disease. Have you a goal? 4.5 feet isn't much depth for a bed as they need to be away from the house for access and out from under the eaves for rain. Any chance of expanding that? |
