Shrub identification

Okay... Its flowers and leaves look like a variegated weigela I have somewhere else in the yard but their structure isn't the same... Maybe its still weigela but thought I'd verify with everyone here. I only ask because I want to relocate it somewhere else and I wanted to read up on if there were any tricks to moving this one.
Thanks again!

Still a Weigela. Move when leafless.

RE: Shrub identification

they will all have the same structure.. at maturity..

based on that dark picture.. it looks very upright.. which means its pretty young.. or in too much shade ...

what he said on moving.. probably couldnt kill it if you wanted..

in MI.. shoot for mid to late sept to move it ..

google rejuvenation pruning of shrubs.. for how to care for these over the decades ... NEVER prune at height ...

Weigela is really easy to root from cuttings so you might want to take a few when you move it to hedge your bets.
