The form of it does look like the spirea , but is it normal for them to reach these hights? Her row is at least 20 feet tall . I didn't know they could get so large. Thanks for the fast reply.

Do you think it could be Deutzia? Tomorrow I will walk over like a stalker and take a closer picture:) the flowers are white but they have tiny pink lines in them.... I'm so jealous of them every spring.

One of the double-flowered deutzias. Rather often asked about, at flowering time.

The rest of the time there isn't much to see, except the bark has some winter interest.

Nothing like a birch or maple with colorful bark, of course, especially since it is a cane-stemmed shrub with a component of small twigs and trashiness, unless cleaned up regularly.

Easier than roses. Just do them the same way. Or just stick some one foot lengths in the ground in late summer and forget them until next spring.
