Need help identifying evergreen shrub

I have a very fast growing, evergreen shrub that I need some help identifying. The leaves are glossy and shaped like that of a rhododendron. They smell like almond extract when they are cut. It blooms in early May with stalks of white flowers. The native bees absolutely love it. It has blue, olive shaped berries in the fall which the birds don't seem to like. Can anyone tell me what it is?

If you do know it, how do I prune it? It grows so quickly and has taken over my front window. How drastically can I cut it back? Thanks for any help!
