Anyway to make a "Nanho Blue" Butterfly Bush's blooms more blue?

Hi everyone. Is there anyway to make a "Nanho Blue" Butterfly Bush's blooms more blue in color? (For instance, I know that adding an acidic fertilizer to hydrangeas will turn the blooms bluer.).
We've had this bush for a number of years and I never paid much attention to the color. Until now, when the red "Jay" daylilies I just planted this spring around the bush just bloomed today--along with the first butterfly bush blooms and ---ugh!!!! What a color clash between the tomato red of the daylilies and the purplish pink of the butterfly bush. I thought its blooms were more of a bluish color. We have had a lot of rain here in southern Maryland--could that affect flower color? They are planted on a hill with very good drainage though. My soil on the hill was almost neutral the last time I tested it (years ago.) Thanks for any help. I am so tired of moving plants around--I just want to leave the daylilies in place if I can!!
