I knew the couple who planted these shrubs. They were planted when the stone wall was built over 40 years ago in NJ. This forum has had countless posts about boxwood problems in eastern US. Clearly this is not English Box. I am guessing that this plant doesn't have the disease/cultural problems of English Box. Can you name it, do you have any experience with it?
