| My holly bushes (right in front of my house) are very overgrown and if I cut them back where I want them it will leave just bare sticks in the front. Also a couple of years ago my teenage son surprised me by pruning them to where they look leggy instead of a pyramid. Is there any hope for me getting them back in shape or will my drastic pruning just kill them? |

| w/o a pic.. its really hard to tell you if they can be renovated with success ... i mean.. whether it is worth the effort.. obviously you can cut them any way you want ... but tell me.. do you really want a multi year renovation project right in front of your house.. be honest .. isnt it time for them to go?? ken |
