Houzzers spill the beans about buying blunders, painting problems and DIY disasters
Full StoryWe planted five Schip Laurels a year ago. All except one look extremely healthy. One in the middle of the row has a problem: its leaves are showing signs of being eaten in the middle and at the edges, and browning at the edges. Our nursery thinks it's grasshoppers, though we have seen no sign of them. A quick perusal of Google Images suggests some kind of fungus. (shot hole fungus?). The strange thing is that all five of the shrubs the same sunlight, rain and drainage but four are not (yet?) affected.I have attached a picture of a twig from the sick shrub and a link to additional pictures. What do you think, and what is the best treatment for the problem?
