Sun loving, drought tolerant shrubs

Hi All,

I posted this on the Florida gardening forum as well. I'm looking for large shrubs or small, low growing trees that are fast growing, thrive in full sun and are drought tolerant once established. I would also like at least one season of flowers or foliage color. I'm not asking for much :)

Although I live in NJ, I have had wonderful dealings with Woodlanders, down South. Mostly native, with honest descriptions. If they say, drought tolerant, it will be.
