| Hi,
Does anyone know how hardy this shrub is from personal experience. I've been mislead with coloured hydrangeas that according to the tag are hardy enough, but then don't survive the winter. Is it worth buying in my zone? I've read somewhere that it may live, but only come back from the roots next spring. Thanks. Mary |

| The info that I have researched does range from zones 3 to zone 5.....so it is misleading.... I'd plant it out in an area where it would receive some winter protection.....most gardens around your house will have a "micro-climate" where the temperature extremes are less severe..... I have planted hydrangeas and other plants that are not rated (zoned) for my area, but given the right (protected) area, they are doing fine and flowering.... Ian |
