Cherry Dazzle Dwarf Crape Myrtles

I planted three Cherry Dazzle and would like to know if these are truly a slow-growing, dwarf shrub? I planted Pocomoke Crape Myrtles years ago, which are supposedly dwarf and they have grown at least four feet high. I have been pruning them late fall, but I wanted a plant that would grow slowly and would not need much maintenance in the way of pruning and having to keep compact.

So....what has been your experience with these shrubs? Slow-growing, estimated growth per season, do you need to prune each year to keep them "dwarf?" Are the blooms abundant (reading some posts where the Cherry Dazzle have not bloomed). The plants are planted in my backyard, facing East.

I appreciate your thoughts and input. Thank you.
