| i am digging up a dwarf alberta spruce and i need to know how large the root system is so i now how far out i have to dig so i dont hit the roots and damage the plant if anyone can help me out thanks bunch's

| how big is the plant? and why do you need to do it right now.. it is not the best time of year to do such.. but i understand sometimes the project requires such ... these are extremely cheap conifers .... sometimes its easier to be done with it.. and buy a new one.. rather than invest hour after hour of intense physical labor to move a cheap plant ... a pic would sure help ken |

| If you want a better chance of killing it, do it now. Otherwise, wait for fall. Brandon has a good guide for rootball size and I'm sure he'll have a useful formula for your task. Dan |
