So, I have TEN Euonymus plants that all are infected with scale and have to be removed. I am having trouble deciding what a good option would be to put in their place? Something similar in size/shape/color - also most areas receive very little water. Any ideas?? HELP!

There are lots of different kinds of Euonymus. What size and shape do you want for these shrubs? Are they in the sun/part-sun/shade? In which part of the country do you live?

IMHO.. anything else ... its hard to make any suggestions w/o a picture of the spot ... and do understand that new transplants can not be left w/o water.. once established.. most things can handle some level of dryness ... but if you put in something new.. you will have some responsibilities.. i give you a gold star.. for getting rid of them.. i have a personal hatred for them ... give us a pic.. and some dimension of the space.. the sun.. soil type.. and where you are .... ken
