Mystery needs an ID so I can plant 3 of them!

I was given 3 1 gal. pots with shrubs in them. Deeply toothed, medium green, fuzzy leaves. Woody stems. Deep, dark purple flowers, somewhat trumpet-ish.

I have NO idea what they are, how big they will get, how much sun vs. shade is needed, so I don't know where to plant them...

Hoping I can link to the pictures in Picasa to show you guys... https://picasaweb.google.com/114266582036896526681/20110805?authkey=Gv 1sRgCM7z6KHDuv2-Ug

I HAVE 3 of them. They were given to me. If they are geranium, should they have the typical geranium leaf smell?

Thanks!

What, against a solid background? I'll try. I'm not the slickest at either the taking digital pictures up close or at uploading them to Picasa.

Thanks for the tentative ID.

OK. I took 2 new pictures against my white front door. Hopefully that will be easier to look at. I still can't manage close ups, that skill is still to come.

Glad to see you got your answer on Name that Plant. Regarding taking close-up photos, use the flower setting on the camera; it enables it to focus closer up.
