'little lamb' how is yours doing?

Last year a number of people were writing about hydrangea "little lamb" I'd like to hear some reports from those who have been growing it. Has it been what you expected? What has proven the best situation for it? How would you describe its garden "impact?' Fall foliage? Winterkill risk in what zones?

Any other observations or feelings?
