 o
Physocarpus - Summer Wine

I planted a new Summer Wine Ninebark last weekend in a spot with pretty terrific soil, and with sun from about noon until sundown. It was in a large pot from the nursery and is about 2.5 feet tall and wide. At the nursery, it received some late afternoon shade.

The leaves on the outer third of the top branches are rather wilted. As the plant has had ample water, I'm not sure what's happening. Do y'all think it may just be transplant shock, or should I figure out how to provide some shade?

It must have been a bit of transplant shock, because the bush is looking great today. Go figure.
