| I have a shrub in my yard that people can't seem to identify, including me! It has smooth, non-shiny green leaves, alternating in shoots of three. It cascades out into a half fan shape. In the Spring it has tiny lavender flowers. In the Fall it develops big black pods. It is very hardy.
I know I may have to take and post a picture, but if anyone has any idea what this is I'd much appreciate your input. My multiple web searches have been fruitless. Thanks in advance. |

| It sounds like Baptisia, aka False Indigo, but that's a herbaceous perennial, not a woody shrub. Unless there's a form of it that is woody? |
