It's so hard to find the perfect crape myrtle

It seems like whenever I see one I like in the nursery, the size it says on the tag is not the same as what I find on the internet. The 1st one I was tempted by was called True Blue, but I can't find anything about it on the internet. I'm tried of the typical pink you see everywhere and this one was an unusual bluish lavendar. Now I leaning towards something red...maybe Victor or Chica Red, but the sizes vary by quite a bit on the internet. I'm hoping someone here has experience with these or others that would fit my requirements. This isn't the best picture, but I want to put a CM on the left corner of my house. I don't want to have to trim it to keep it from getting too tall and I want a shrub variety because I don't like keeping the twigs trimmed off the bottom of the trees.

Anyone know if Victor or Chica Red would work for this location?
