My Pyracantha has scab. The leaves were a little brown all summer, but produces great growth. The orange berries are brown and shriveled for the most part.
I'm not sure how to proceed to correct this, and a web search produces all kinds of conflicting information. Should I prune back now (Oct 30) or early spring? It seems that an ornamental tree anti-fungal should be effective. Would I apply this in the spring? How do I prevent future scab?
Thanks.
