blushing bride rose of sharon

Hello! I just picked up a little plant of this, only 6 inches tall, i have a great full sun spot for this, and am wondering how fast i can expect it to grow? By the end of next summer will it be at least 4 ft tall? Also, if you have this pretty plant how long will it really bloom for? I looked online, found that it should bloom summer to fall, but want to make sure itll flower that well. Thanks !!!

where are you lily ... your zone will help us understand how long your growing season is.. so we can guess how much it might grow ...

and.. do you have a garden bed.. with improved soil... and do you plan any aftercare... which will also impact its growth rate ...

i always forget the vitals in my excitement! Lol Im in 6b, pittsburgh. it is going in a full sun (maybe early am shade) it will be fertilized with the rest of the plants. Thanks!

I know they do well up north was just looking at a Rose of Sharon bush in Randolph County West Virgina it was well over 6 feet 2 inches; my height and plant was very bushy. It seems to love to bush out up north. Down here in Texas they love to grow quite fast depending on the soil. I have seen them grow from seed to well over 6 foot in one summer but I do not know how rapid they grow in Pennsylvania. All I can remember is as a boy in Michigan they were beautiful bushes.
