What is wrong?

Hi. We bought our house in North West Tasmania with a beautiful garden. We think this is a pittosporum? Several in the garden planted in a line with plants in between. The first shrub has been losing its leaves and gaps now appearing in the next two shrubs. The house was built in 2003 so we are unsure how old the garden is. Hubby has been spraying Seasol. Any advice on what is wrong and will it come back or should we remove it?
