I just canceled the order. Your comment sounded ominous enough that I wasted no time canceling it. I guess usefulness > cuteness. A lot of people use these covers for winter protection, I didn't see why my shrub would be any different, but I took heed of your words.

I wanted to protect the shrub from sun and salt. The shrub is not so far off the road that getting salt on it is out of the realm of possibility. I have plenty of burlap so I'll use that. I just thought this shrub coat would be cute for the front yard.

of all your plants.. forsythia is not one to worry about.. nor spend money on ..

IF YOU CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO KILL IT .. let me know ... it should be indestructible ...

i thought we had this conversation ... you could leave it in the MIDDLE OF THE ROAD .. and it will still ... probably.. survive ...

"Some" Forsythia can actually benefit from winter protection to improve flowering.
However that material and color is not the way to go. Also the cultivar you have will not need it either.

i have a shed full of things i thought were cool ...

hindsight is always... 20/20 .. lol ...

most of them involve the newest and latest weeding tools.. lol ..
