When to transplant a Corylopsis

It must be moved....it's established - still small enough to move.

Shall I move it after it goes into dormancy this fall, or wait til after bloom early next spring .. ?

Do it now or before it starts budding out next spring.

Since the leaves are probably gone, do it now. You'll notice the flower buds are already set for next year, not a big deal. You will lose part of the 2014 bloom while the shrub gets re-established, but that can't be helped. Keep it watered next spring to minimize damages.
